Our sustainability strategy reflects our commitment and ambitions with regard to three strong pillars: environment (E), social responsibility (S) and governance (G).     


Here is an overview of our best practices:

Environment

Renewable Energy & Carbon Footprint Reduction
To minimize our carbon footprint, we are partnering with D-Carbonize to measure and reduce our CO2 emissions.      
Moreover, the roof of our headquarters in Angleur has been covered with solar panels in 2024, producing energy that accounts for about the global annual energy consumption of SPACEBEL activities.

Sustainable Mobility
Recognising the importance of a sustainable car policy, we promote eco-friendly mobility. Our leasing fleet now consists mainly of 100% electric vehicles or plug-in hybrid vehicles.
In the same spirit, charging stations have been installed at our offices in Belgium.

Waste Management
Employees are encouraged to participate in recycling and waste management efforts through accessible waste sorting bins in our facilities.

Biodiversity Preservation
We have joined a dedicated project involving several companies in the LIEGE science park in cooperation with Vivus. The aim is to protect and restore natural habitats, foster pollinators and develop ecological zones. This includes green spaces around our offices, plantation of indigenous species and sustainable forest management of woodland.

Social Responsibility

Community Engagement
We believe that companies also have an important role to play in society. To contribute to the improvement of people’s quality of life, we take part in various solidarity actions and support charity projects of different types.
