Focussing on Security and Defence, the second AI4Copernicus day organised by the Copernicus Relays of Belgium (i.e. Skywin, ISSeP, SPACEBEL and VITO) in cooperation with the Royal Military Academy will highlight the interaction between Earth observation and artificial intelligence for a safer world.

Scheduled on May 3rd at the RMA in Brussels, the AI4Copernicus 2022 edition comprises an extensive programme with insightful roundtables and several thematic talks in line with the subject of the event.

SPACEBEL, in cooperation with Multitel, will be among the keynote speakers with the following hot-topic presentation:

IADAS: project to identify individual tree and tree species based on EO & AI

Moreover, the event includes some dedicated slots “New Talents for EO & AI” set up with the support of Switch to Space, which will offer PhD and Master students the opportunity to shortly pitch their project or thesis on stage.
