Reaching into Sustainability TOGETHER - Taking Care of Biodiversity
Companies must drive meaningful change fostering a fairer and better world for future generations. Guided by this belief, SPACEBEL has put into place a series of initiatives to contribute to a sustainable planet and to create a greener future for all.
A good example of our sustainability strategy at environmental level is our participation in the biodiversity preservation project funded by Service Public de Wallonie, coordinated by Cilyx and involving several companies in the LIEGE science park in cooperation with VIVUS Nature, a ULiège spin-off.
The aim is to protect and restore natural habitats, foster pollinators and develop ecological zones. This includes green spaces around our offices, plantation of indigenous species and sustainable forest management of woodland.
With this objective in mind, we have transformed parts of our lawn into wildflower meadows which help wildlife diversity and the environment through carbon capture… while adding some colourful beauty to our surroundings in Angleur.
