With GOSS, SPACEBEL Acquires a New Reference in Satellite Simulation

Following the renewal of several framework cooperation agreements with CNES at the beginning of 2023, SPACEBEL has recently signed a major contract in the field of on-board engineering and Space computing covering the "System Simulation Infrastructure” segment.

The contract involves a series of support and maintenance tasks required for the operational management of satellite simulators. This also includes technical or operational qualification in the event of mission extension or end-of-life testing, for example.

As the only contractor, SPACEBEL will bring its know-how to the CNES Space missions already in operation, i.e.:

  • PROTEUS (SMOS and JASON 3)
  • Pleiades
  • CSO system
  • ISIS programme (CERES and SWOT)

The MERLIN and possibly YODA satellites could complete the ISIS family in the future.

Thanks to our contribution to the specification, design and development of all simulation resources for Space missions such as the ones mentioned above, SPACEBEL has renowned expertise in the understanding and knowledge of complex satellite systems.

Drawing on decades of fruitful collaboration with CNES, this experience will benefit this new software simulation project with the French Space Agency.
