SPACEBEL Will Help Europe to Navigate on its Own

Developed by the European Space Agency and funded by the European Union, Galileo will be Europe’s proper, independent satellite-based positioning system under civilian control that should should provide its initial services by 2014.

SPACEBEL has recently been selected by OHB-System AG in Germany, the prime contractor for the first 14 satellites of the Galileo constellation, in order to develop the PUS (Packet Utilization Standard) Library as well as the Packet Store.
SPACEBEL will thus contribute to the on board data handling software aimed at controlling and managing the processes running aboard the Galileo satellites.

With the Galileo project, SPACEBEL is honored to serve its new customer OHB and bring its know-how to the comfort of all citizens in Europe.
