Congrats from SPACEBEL on constellR’s Sky-Bee-1 Satellite Launch!
The German based constellR with offices in Belgium is a pioneer in the use of thermal infrared satellite technology and services to address agricultural benefits, urban development efficiency and infrastructure monitoring.
The successful launch of their Sky-Bee-1 satellite on a SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on January 14th 2025 marks the start of their upcoming High-precision Versatile Ecosphere (HiVE) satellite constellation, a network of global thermal monitoring satellites that will play a crucial role in climate resilience.
According to the first contacts with Sky-Bee-1, all is fine as far as health check, power supply and thermal stability are concerned. Its first images are now eagerly awaited within a few weeks.
As a constellR shareholder, SPACEBEL is tremendously pleased to be part of this innovative dimension as it matches our own efforts to contribute to a sustainable future for our planet Earth and its inhabitants thanks to our space systems software and Earth observation services.
Long live Sky-Bee and its future companions!
